The Goodwood Festival of Speed recently showcased the Porsche Cayenne's remarkable versatility, highlighting its performance, comfort, and off-road capabilities. A camouflaged prototype of the upcoming all-electric Cayenne made a dynamic appearance on the legendary Goodwood hill, offering a glimpse into the future of the SUV. The event also marked the debut of the new Cayenne Black Edition and provided opportunities for off-road demonstrations.

Electric Future on Display

A camouflaged prototype of the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Electric made a significant impression at Goodwood, demonstrating its dynamic capabilities on the famous hill climb. This appearance followed its recent record-setting performance at Shelsley Walsh, where it achieved a new SUV hill climb record of 31.28 seconds, beating the previous record by over four seconds. The prototype, equipped with Porsche Active Ride suspension, showcased impressive acceleration, covering 60 feet in just 1.94 seconds.

  • The Cayenne Electric prototype was driven by Gabriela Jílková, simulator and development driver for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.

  • Its Porsche Active Ride suspension system ensures body level even during heavy maneuvers, maximizing traction and comfort.

  • The next public appearance for the Cayenne Electric is scheduled for IAA Mobility in Munich in September 2025.
